Holy crap.

So I've got my own internet connection now, which means no more heading out 30 minutes to get to the closest free wifi, which means...

Uh. Wow. I'm terrified of my flist. There's so much to get caught up on, I don't know where to start. So. What did I miss? Any recommendations? I'm gonna go read all of your stuff.

Also, Go read this! If not because it's the first beta job I've ever done, then because Oreogeekgirl wrote it, it's awesome, and the royal we wants to see her writing more!

Soooooo, does the new connection mean we'll be getting more "The Man I Used to Be" soon? Not that I'm nagging, mind … ;-)

I've got two or three recent ones up, if you'd care to mosey over.

Next one should be up in a few days, once I get it started.

And I'm getting caught up on your recent stories as we speak! :)

Ooh, I'm waiting. Congrats on the new connection! Believe me, it's better than having to trudge out to the library in the snow for wi-fi! Now, write! I'm getting worried about Eliot ...

So I'm lucky enough to be the first beta you've ever done?? EXCELLENT! Just want to thank you again for the help and for posting the story. Oh and the html codes??? PRICELESS!

I guess I should get started on their next(?!)chapter.

Oh and yea, I'm with rubygirl29, I'm worried about Eliot too. (Snow hun? You're dealing with snow?? Yeesh!)

Yay!

er. Not about the snow, about another chapter coming down the pipes from your direction. :)

Yay!

Welcome back to the wonderful world of the internet!

I know how you feel, lost my connection for awhile and was doing what my husband referred to as Wi-Fi Yoga. Doesn't it figure, got a great connection on our back porch by holding the laptop straight up over my head, spent some time laying on my back on a blanket just to keep up with things... made typing a pain in the butt though. LoL.

If it's any consolation, I've been guilty of doing the same thing, though standing in the kitchen with my laptop held out the open window is about as athletic as my attempts have gotten.

Been there too.. much to my neighbor's delight.. especially when one of them opens their window and asks if I'm leaching their internet... I love apartments.

You should tell them you're leaching their life-force instead and see where that gets you. :)

My neighbors are great, they think I'm hilarious. The one with the best wireless even moved her router so that we got a better signal when my internet was out for almost two months.
