Outlining is dangerous business, because you start to think that you can fit in five different storylines, and in so doing, you mess up all of them... and then have to rethink everything all over again.  I think I'm going to learn how to write drabbles.  There's only so much writing-yourself-into-a-corner that you can do with those, right?

Argh.
